Mission Statement: The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Long Island is a consortium of Organizations and individuals dedicated to the prevention of suicide through public education and awareness.
The SPC-LI includes a broad range of stakeholders who have come together with a common interest in preventing suicide, connecting those touched by suicide to helpful resources, and providing education about suicide to the public and professional community on Long Island.
The Executive Committee provides direction for the various suicide prevention, intervention and post-vention activities and education and training efforts of the Coalition members, as well as overseeing the use of funds allocated to the Coalition.
